THE LAST SET OF VIDEOS FROM ANTI-FAMOUS IS NOW UP!!!! Was a good video run. Enjoyed doing it. Gonna take a break from music for a while. Trying to get my voice back. Still dealing with that issue. In the meantime, I'm gonna be doing another series of sketches for about the next month and a half. Plus, another LIVE HOME SESSION and another live performance at my cousin's live stream birthday party in May. We'll see if the live stream happens though. Seems like there's always something that doesn't work. Lol. Also, I'll be releasing a new reel in the next day or two with the videos from this past run featured. Til next time. :)

FINALLY FINISHED WITH THIS VIDEO RUN!!!! LOL!! The last 3 ZOMBIFY videos from the XXX album are now online in the music videos section along with a new reel. Spent this past spring and summer working on these videos. This is the longest video run I've done with over 30 videos in all. Hope yall will check them out!!!

Also, I want to give a shout out to Captain Dugog from the UK who added the turntable scratches to 12 of the songs on the XXX album. I have a thing for turntables used in rock songs as I grew up with the boom of nu-metal in the late 90s / early 2000s. Just wanted to try something new by adding scratches to darkwave / goth rock type of beats. Thanks again man for hooking them up. Also, shout out to Terrence from Connecticut that's been mixing and mastering my last couple of releases. Really appreciate it.

Well, all I can say now is... GET READY FOR ANTI-FAMOUS!!!! Lol.

Click the title of the blog to check out my live ZOMBIFY set at the Lyric Theater this past Sunday. Bare with me on the audio though. It's not the best. My camera wasn't connected to the soundboard or anything. The audio is just the house speakers in the theater. It's kind of hard to hear what I say at times (which my voice issue doesn't help too much either.. lol). Plus, I was given a crash course of the soundboard the day before. To me, the back tracks could've been lower and the mic level higher. Also, I'm still getting used to being on stage in front of people. It's not that I was nervous, but it's like I tense up when I'm performing. Just gotta learn to relax I guess. Just some things to work out. And thanks to all the friends and family that came out to the show. Much love. AND ON TO THE NEXT... :)

The last 3 ZOMBIFY music videos to the album, A Devil with a Heart, are now online!! (Along with Reel 13) These are the last videos of this video run that I’ve been doing the past 2 months. In case you’re wondering what’s next, I’m now going to revise the feature film script I wrote 6 years ago, titled “Get Down For The Revolution”. Shout out to At All Cost for the inspiration to the film. Plus, all the experiences and stories of the MJL videos and making music videos in Houston.

As far as music goes, I have some more darkwave/post punk/goth rock type beats that I plan on making another album with. However, I’m looking for a turntablist to add Linkin Park style (Hybrid Theory/Meteora era) scratches and sounds to them. My goal when I first started doing music was to combine darkwave and rap. Don’t know if anyone else has tried that, but I’d like to try something new that no one else is doing. I’ve always been a fan of turntablism in rock, so why not try it in darkwave.

Also, if there are any producers in the central Texas area that are interested in making beats for me, I’m down to meet up and sit down with you to work on them. I have a few melody ideas, plus a list of 20+ songs that have sounds in them that I’d like to take and make original beats out of.
